It’s game on for the #beatrizbinge. Last week, we kicked off our binge reading of Beatriz Williams’s thrilling and glamorous novels with The Wicked City, out now in paperback. I hope you have already joined the conversation by posting and commenting using #beatrizbinge on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Don’t forget, each post gives you a chance to win a book-themed prize package (just be sure your posts are public and don’t forget that hashtag).
As if a good #beatrizbinge isn’t enough fun already, Beatriz has declared February her month to Spread the Love to Book Clubs. To show her appreciation for book clubs everywhere, Beatriz is making herself available for a dozen half-hour Skype sessions with book clubs about her book The Wicked City. Just take a short survey and register for a chance to Skype with Beatriz this February! Click here for more details, and to register.
My book club Skyped with Beatriz about a year ago when we read A Certain Age, and it was such a positive experience. Even though some of us were nervous talking to a real-live author, Beatriz quickly put us all at ease and she fit right in with our squad. Having Beatriz’s participation in our discussion took book club night to a whole new level: it was not only more engaging, but also a ton of fun. Beatriz is funny, smart, and offers so many interesting insights into her research and inspiration. Did I mention, she was sipping a glass of wine right along with us? Beatriz totally gets it! Cheers!
