Today the The New Yorker officially launched a monthly book club billed as an "ongoing collaboration between our editors our writers, and our audience." They promise that the selections will be "eclectic but will share one main criterion-- they resist easy answers." The selection for February is Richard Yates' Revolutionary Road. Seems like a good choice as we head into Oscar weekend, where the film adaptation of RR is up for several awards. Go on over to the New Yorker and register to participate in the discussion each month!
