and I couldn't be more impressed by the amount of reading, tweeting and blogging that's going on all over the country about......BOOKS! If this doesn't inspire you that the love of literature is alive and well, I don't know what will. When I last checked the official Read-a-thon blog, more than 106 people were participating in the 24-hour-reading challenge. Readers are blogging and tweeting about their progress and even someone not participating, but cheering everyone on via tweets, like Beth Fish Reads, is so active that she just got temporarily blocked from Twitter! That is awesome. Here is Natasha from Maw Books reporting from halfway through, and sharing her great meal with us. Irish, from Ticket to Anywhere telling us about her reading progress and what she thinks of what she's read so far. Shannan of ShannanLovesBooks is reading Anna Karenina and Jenn from Jenn's Bookshelf is nearing 1,000 pages read since the start of the Read-A-Thon!
I am definitely doing this Read-A-Thon next time it comes around. Congratulatons to everyone!
