I'm thrilled to announce that on Monday, November 15th, at 7pm ET, Melissa Wiley, author of the Martha and Charlotte Years of the Little House series as well as the foreword to the new reissue of Carney's House Party and WInona's Cart and Mitali Perkins, author of Bamboo People and the foreword to the new reissue of Emily of Deep Valley will join me on Book Club Girl on Air to discuss these reissues plus all things Maud Hart Lovelace! In addition to Melissa and Mitali, I hope to be joined by many fellow Lovelace fans, both old and new.
As you know, the reissues of Carney/Winona and Emily are just on sale, and last fall we reissued the high school and beyond books in Lovelace's classic Betsy-Tacy series. And in case you missed it, this weekend, Julie, of Booking Mama, gave an absolute rave review to Emily of Deep Valley saying that she "absolutely loved it" and thinks it's "her favorite Maud Hart Lovelace book so far."

What a hard choice they all sound so good. I've never reader the Deep Valley series or when Betsy was older. I think I'd like to try Emily of Deep Valley. Thank you so much. I can't wait to listen to this show.
