It's hard to believe that I've been doing Book Club Girl on Air shows long enough to have "regular guests" - but I have and I do! Returning to the show for the third time on Wednesday, March 31st is the prolific and hilarious Adriana Trigiani, who will join us to discuss her newest book, the second in her Valentine Roncalli trilogy, Brava, Valentine. Those of you who have yet to meet Valentine are in for a treat, and can get started with Very Valentine, the first book in the series. It's not imperative that you start there, as Brava, Valentine definitely stands on its own, but why deny yourself the fun?
In Brava Valentine, Valentine Roncalli finds her dream of taking over the Angelini Shoe Company in peril while she struggles with a long-distance relationship. Throwing herself into her work, trying to forge her own career path, Valentine is taken to sun-kissed Buenos Aires where a long-buried family secret rocks her family and she finds herself torn between a past love that nurtured her, and a new one that promises to sustain her.

I love Adriana. I feel like I can call her that becuase I met her at a book signing once and feel like she's a friend :) I'm still on the reserve list at the library for a copy of the book. I can't wait to hear her discuss this new book.
