It is always so much fun to talk to Adriana Trigiani and tonight was no exception. I loved hearing about how Viola came to be, and that there is a sequel in the works! And it was great to hear about the YA authors Trigiani read as a girl - I can totally see her rereading Harriet the Spy over and over again. My thanks to Adriana, and to everyone who called in and joined the chat. I had hoped to listen live, but I didn't get home in time and had to listen to it later. I've linked the BTR show to my Viola in Reel Life review.

As usual Adri was her entertaining self while discussing her young adult novel, Viola In Reel Life.
All of her novels are wonderful without being another
salacious grouping of words found in many other
novels. Especially in Viola, etc. the wholesomeness
is necessary and appreciated. Without detailed descriptions of "love" this author writes clearly and
cleanly a practice to be admired.

I am trying to find a discussion guide for Viola In Reel Life and cannot seem to find one for my daughter's book club meeting - any help? Thanks, Ruth
