Addie Downs and Valerie Adler will be best friends forever. That's what Addie believes after Valerie moves across the street when they're both nine years old. But in the wake of betrayal during their teenage years, Val is swept into the popular crowd, while mousy, sullen Addie becomes her school's scapegoat. Flash-forward fifteen years. Valerie Adler has found a measure of fame and fortune working as the weathergirl at the local TV station. Addie Downs lives alone in her parents' house in their small hometown of Pleasant Ridge, Illinois, caring for a troubled brother and trying to meet Prince Charming on the Internet. She's just returned from Bad Date #6 when she opens her door to find her long-gone best friend standing there, a terrified look on her face and blood on the sleeve of her coat. "Something horrible has happened," Val tells Addie, "and you're the only one who can help." Best Friends Forever is a grand, hilarious, edge-of-your-seat adventure; a story about betrayal and loyalty, family history and small-town secrets. It's about living through tragedy, finding love where you least expect it, and the ties that keep best friends together. (from the Simon and Schuster website) Plus the cover just screams "take me to the beach and read me!" I'd share this with my friend, Cindy. We've been friends since college, and even though we don't stay in touch regularly, when we get together, we can pick up right where we left off.

I would love to share a book with my friend Judi. We met about 10 years ago and I couldn't do without her. We've done lots of fun stuff together, but we also have gone through some struggles together. I always know she's there when I need her. And she loves to read so she would be so excited to share a read with me.

I would have to share a second copy of this with my mom who is also my best friend. Growing up I never thought we would survive my teen years. Now we talk almost every day. And she reads even more than I do so she's always ready for somthing new.

I'd love to win a copy for my BFF and I - we've been friends since high school. She's over an hour away from where I live, but we email each other several times a day - we can talk about anything, tell each other anything and be brutally honest with each other about anything.

I would love to win this! My BFF that I would share this with is my sister. Her and I are both big Jennifer Weiner fans - and I so looking forward to reading this book even if I don't win (but I would rather win than have to buy it myself).

I would love to read this book and share it with my very best friend I've had since I was 15. She works hard for her family with little reward. This would be great for her!

I share all my books with my best friend, Amy. Both of us are in the book club that we both belong to and she hears all my gripes with our club and puts up with my complaining. We share books and title with each other. She calls me the friendly walking bibliophile because she can call me and she asks do you have this book. I will tell her yes or no. She can't understand how I can keep a accurate name and know if I have the book or not. But we are the bestest of friends. We became friends because of books.

Hiya!! I would love to win and share this book with my BFF Amanda. She is having a very stressful time at the moment (just got divorced, raising 1yr old daughter on her own, studying for the FL bar, working and trying to just breathe/relax whenever she finds a minute) and I think this book will provide her with some escapism that she is sorely in need of. I think we would enjoy talking about the book and it would provide us with a different topic of conversation, rather then the same old. Cheers!!
