Avid readers, like those who come here, want to know what books are hot (and what’s not). Try Book Talk on Conversations Live with Vicki St. Clair.

Book Talk will keep you updated weekly on inspiring, motivational and informational books. A complete list of podcasts are provided here http://conversationslive.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=16&Itemid=26

Additionally the producers are looking for feedback on Book Talk – about what books would you like to hear? What would you change? Take a moment and write up your input here: http://conversationslive.net/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=30

Thanks for swinging through!

I like it! Thanks for posting about it.

Just what my TBR pile needs. Might be interesting to keep track of how many I've read - probably none.

Marie

well I'm all subscribed. Looks great.

The "backlist" is a great idea for a blog--wish I had thought of it. :) Thanks for letting us know about it!

Lisa

great link--thanks! My oldest loved the Little Critter books and I always recommend them for young children so I was glad to see one here.

Leesa

I love used book stores, so I will be using this link. Thanks.

I have just started book blogging (although I have been blogging for two years), and I figure I can write about any book, no matter how old, because some people will have read it and some will not. So, I guess I'm kind of always working the backlist.

    Who is Book Club Girl?

    • Book Club Girl is: a member of a book club and an avid reader who spent most of her childhood immersed in a book, an English major who considered library school until she realized it was all about computers, so turned to publishing, where she now works (but she vows to talk about books from all over and not to simply flog those from her own house). She was single, lived in the city, met a man, moved to the 'burbs, and is now a wife, a stepmother, a mother, and in her spare time, a fledgling blogger dedicated to sharing great books, news and tips with book club girls everywhere.

    My Review Policy

    • I review fiction and nonfiction that is appropriate for book clubs. This includes literary and some women's commercial fiction as well as memoir and narrative nonfiction. I do not review self-help, thrillers, mysteries, horror, or fantasy. I have a fondness for YA literature and while the blog is not devoted to it (well, except for my obsession with the Betsy-Tacy series), I will occasionally review some YA books. The best way to reach me to request a review is to email me at bookclubgirl AT gmail DOT com.
