I'm so pleased to announce that my next radio show (after Adriana Trigiani next Tues, April 7th at 7!) will feature Lily Koppel, author of the acclaimed and unique memoir The Red Leather Diary. As those of you who follow the blog know, Lily's story began when she discovered an old red leather diary in a dumpster outside of her Manhattan apartment building. Within its pages she learned about the life of one Florence Wolfson, living in 1930s NYC, and she set out on a mission to find Florence today. The resulting dual memoir by Koppel is a wonderful and inspiring read. Read more about the book here and here. Browse inside it here.
The show with Lily will take place on April 29th at 7 pm EST. Set your reminder for the show here.
The first 15 people who comment that they'd like to participate in the show, via the phone or online chat, will receive a free copy of the book!

Oh, I'm so excited! I'd love to join in for this one for sure!

I'd love to participate. And it's on a Wednesday so I won't be working. I always work on Tuesday nights so can't be there live, but I do listen to the recordings.

This book looks absolutely amazing :)

The book sounds intriguing. How amazing that a diary shows up later in life. Wonder what her reaction was when she heard it was found. I hope to be able to join the book club that day.

I'd love to participate if you have an extra copy. This has been on my wishlist for awhile and I love reading books based on diaries and journals.

Interesting!
A diary or a personal journal is your most intimate confidante. You can confidently share your secrets with it knowing that your personal diary will not talk to someone. So you should be very careful about your personal dairy. Leather is one of the most versatile materials that finds application in many areas. I would suggest to maintain a leather dairy instead of any normal dairy.

Hi, I am looking for suppliers/manufacturers/slaughter houses that I
can contact to obtain raw-hide. When I say Raw-hide I am meaning the
material that has NOT been tanned or treated yet.
