No matter who we vote for, we all must exercise the right we have, and that people died to ensure us, to vote today, November 4th. And in the spirit of voting, I offer you a book recommendation -- Tom Perrotta's scathing and hilarious Election. Tracy Flick wants to be president of Winwood High and will do anything to win and it looks like she will, until she comes up against Mr. McAllister, a teacher who is a bit too obsessed with seeing her lose. The book was made into the nearly pitch perfect film starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick. If you haven't read this book, buy it, check it out of your library, borrow it from a friend and give yourself a treat. If you haven't seen the movie, rent it.

I haven't read this one yet, but the movie was adorable. If the book is half as good (of course it's probably better), then it would be an enjoyable read.

My 4-yr-old is wearing his "I Voted!" sticker proudly.
I did see *Election* years ago, but haven't read the book (not the order I usually do things in!). Adding *Election* to my book wish list ...
