The handwritten Harry Potter prequel, that J.K. Rowling recently wrote and that is set three years before Harry's birth, was sold last night for 25,000 pounds at an auction to benefit the charities English PEN and Dyslexia Action. You can now read it online here as obviously that tiny little picture to the left is not going to work for anyone, be they Muggle or Wizard.

That's it?? One page---what did I miss??

You didn't miss anything - that was it. Authors were asked to basically write whatever they could fit on a postcard for the auction and this was JK Rowling's. Tantalizing and excruciating in its brevity, I know. Looks like all the authors have been pulled together in a book that one can buy in a little over a month: http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=6285395
