I'm in. I'd like my free book please. And I miss you.

Julie P.

I'd love to be part of this discussion. I've heard wonderful things about this book.

Stephanie

I've already purchased the book and will try to tune in to the discussion!

Kate

I would love to take part in the discussion.

Michelle

I'd like to take part in the discussion too. Thank you.

Nancy Viens

It was hard enough growing up in the 1930's, as I did, and it took me well into my forties to learn to speak up for myself. Although I would love the clothes and the quiet of Jane Austen's time, I don't think I would fit in very well!

Hi,

I would love to participate in the discussion, but cannot guarantee that I will be able to call in during that time.

If you will take questions from readers via email..then count me in. Otherwise.. some other lucky soul will get the freebie.

I will definitely listen though once you post it. The books sounds very interesting to me!

Laura

Hi! Yes, I would love to participate in the talk radio show, I can't wait! And this time I will make sure my computer works so that I can send in my address on time :)

Beth Docherty

Hi Jennifer,
I would love to participate again, but I've been lucky enough to do two, so if you want to give someone else a chance, that's fine.
Thanks,
Beth

Dawn

I wasn't able to call in when Thrity Umrigar was on with you, but the archived interview was fantastic (linked in my blog, as I emailed you).
I'd love to particpate in this talk, and already cleared the calendar for the night -- thanks!!

Laura,
for some reason your comment didn't come through to my gmail so I can't email you to get your address. Email your address to bookclubgirl AT gmail DOT com and I'll send you the book! Thanks!

laura

Hi Book Club Girl! I just wanted to check - did you get my address about a week ago?
:)

LISTEN NOW TO AUTHORS DISCUSSING THEIR BOOKS

Who is Book Club Girl?

  • Book Club Girl is: a member of a book club and an avid reader who spent most of her childhood immersed in a book, an English major who considered library school until she realized it was all about computers, so turned to publishing, where she now works (but she vows to talk about books from all over and not to simply flog those from her own house). She was single, lived in the city, met a man, moved to the 'burbs, and is now a wife, a stepmother, a mother, and in her spare time, a fledgling blogger dedicated to sharing great books, news and tips with book club girls everywhere.

My Review Policy

  • I review fiction and nonfiction that is appropriate for book clubs. This includes literary and some women's commercial fiction as well as memoir and narrative nonfiction. I do not review self-help, thrillers, mysteries, horror, or fantasy. I have a fondness for YA literature and while the blog is not devoted to it (well, except for my obsession with the Betsy-Tacy series), I will occasionally review some YA books. The best way to reach me to request a review is to email me at bookclubgirl AT gmail DOT com.
